MVC Board 2008

The Maplewood Voters Coalition was formed in 2006 as a new approach to municipal political organizations. In spring 2007 we chose to structure the group as a voluntary association registered (#40983) with the MN State Campaign Finance Board as a Political Committee. The major political ideologies are focused on national and state policies. We are focused on local government processes, not policy positions.

From the Preamble of our Provisional Constitution

The founding members of this voluntary association have come together to promote the use of positive, open, honest, ethical, respectful and democratic processes by local governmental bodies affecting Maplewood lands and residents. We hereby create a permanent organization to identify, develop, and support candidates for office and elected officials through organizing the assets of volunteers and contributors to inform voters and promote our platform
